We Must Save Our Beloved Country

Posted by tom-judy on September 12, 2009 at 12:00 AM

Dear Patriots;

We are all aware of the continued attack on the core values and

principles on our American Society by President Obama, House

Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senator Harry Reid and a Congress filled with depravation.

Our nation is rapidly disintegrating right before our very eyes.

Our elected officials are gaining unprecedented momentum in

attempting to eradicating OUR REPUBLIC and converting it in to THEIR Marxist Society; if not worse.

They have continued to disrespect the American People by violating the Constitution of The United States.

They have continued to levy burdensome taxes on all of us while they reap the benefits of our honest toil.

They have continued to violate many of our Constitutional Rights.

They have ignored the words WE THE PEOPLE, and for their political gain, substituted it for THEY THE GOVERNMENT.

Their distorted political ideologies are rapidly ripping apart the soul

of our nation. And now they are attempting to seek further legislation

to deny our rights to control our own medical health care and when

we should die!

The only hope for the preservation of the American Republic is in the Tea Party movement. Please become an American Patriot and join us today.

For God, Family, Country and Our Liberties.

This was my first tea party and I loved it. I don't know why I never did any of this before.

I was glad to see all of you and to be a part of the Tea Party on 9/12. I was particularly impressed with the way I heard people speak about their personal gripes with Obama, his administration, proposed health care, big spending government, and all the other things that brought them out. It was done in an articulate way. Those I spoke to knew exactly what they were protesting, to include dates, those responsible and what they would like to see done. For all these good things however, I still must ask the question, "Are you serious enough about this to go the long haul, or will you forget all this when the cold weather gets here, or until you find something else to bitch about?" These are serious issues, and they need to be brought up again and again until they are addressed by our servants. Just something to think about. Keep up the good work.

Since the 1980's I've researched the basic principles that this country was founded on. The more I researched the more I found that our government operated contrary to those principles. It took the person of Ronald Reagan to outwardly denounce government infringement upon the rights of the people of this great nation. No, I'm not giving up this cause and need everyone in our organization to feel the same way.

Health care is just the latest issue. "We the people" have been giving our rights away for years. The question before us now is how do "We the people" get our god given rights back? How can I demand the constitutional rights afforded to me by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights?

I'm sitting here unemployed and fighting two different cancers, and nothing has upset me more than what is going on in our country . I keep thinking of all our soldiers who have died fighting for the rights its citizens today so easily give up. I didn't cry when I lost my work - I didn't cry when I was told about the cancers - I'm crying now. We have a government that refuses to listen to its citizens, which forces us to do something we don't want to do, which allows a school employee to take your child for an abortion without your knowledge or consent.

What is next? Any government is capable of these things when its citizens stop caring and watching.

Thanks to the Tea Parties, we have a voice. It may seem small right now, but it won't be for long. My family and I plan to participate.

My first Post. New to the area. Was scouting Wikipedia for Sharon Connecticut information and found the Sharon Statement... which was produced by Young Americans For Freedom years ago. Apparently segments of the group are active after differing viewpoints on actions somewhat splintered strength. Everyone here probably is familiar with the group and the Sharon Statement... seems to me the statement would be helpful to the AG's and others gathered in north Florida for contesting the Obamacare Socialist System. Here's the wikipedia link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharon_Statement
If helpful, perhaps that organization could be asked to contact and support the lawyers and others presenting the case. Just an idea. (I'm not affiliated and am not familiar with current status of that group, just think the Sharon Statement speaks strongly against Obamacare.)

SueBee, you are definitely not alone. My brother, a vet, is also fighting two cancers, in Illinois. He gains strength from reading and knowing the Tea Party Patriots are locked and loaded and will stay the course forever. God Bless You, you are added to my prayers and my brother's prayers. Please remember Illinois Vet in your prayers. I strongly believe in the Power of Prayer.
